This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Doppelgang ("Company") and governs use of this app made available through the Apple App Store. By installing the Doppelgang App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. User Generated Content (UGC)

Doppelgang allows users to upload photos and create profiles ("Content"). You retain ownership of your Content, but you grant Doppelgang a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and perform your Content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.

2. Objectionable Content Policy (Zero Tolerance)

Doppelgang maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding objectionable content. You may NOT upload, post, or transmit any content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy.
• Contains hate speech or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
• Depicts sexual acts or sexually explicit material.
• Promotes illegal acts or violence.

3. Content Moderation & Reporting

• Reporting: Users can flag objectionable content or abusive users by tapping the "Report" button on any profile.
• Blocking: Users can block other users to prevent prevent further interaction.
• Removal: Doppelgang reserves the right to remove any Content and ban any user that violates this Agreement, at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Reported content will be reviewed within 24 hours and removed if found to be in violation.

4. Age Restriction & Disclaimer

You must be at least 17 years old to use Doppelgang. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Doppelgang does not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

1. Introduction

Doppelgang ("we", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Username, name, age, location, and bio provided during sign-up.
• Photos: The photos you upload to your profile.
• Face Data: We use facial analysis technology to detect facial features in your photos.

3. How We Use Face Data

• Purpose: We use Face Data solely to calculate a "Match Score" between you and other users (including celebrities).
• Processing: When you upload a photo, our server analyzes the facial geometry to create a mathematical representation (a "vector embedding").
• Storage: We store this vector embedding in our secure database. We do not store the raw biometric scan of your face, only the mathematical representation.
• Sharing: We do not share, sell, or trade your Face Data with any third parties.

4. Data Retention & User Rights

Your data is retained only as long as you have an active account. You may delete your account and all associated data (including photos and Face Data) at any time by going to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers.

5. Face Data Collection and Usage

• 5.1 Data Collected: We collect the user's uploaded profile photo. From this photo, we derive a facial feature vector (a numerical representation of the face) and estimated age/gender metadata.
• 5.2 Purpose: The profile photo is stored to display the user's avatar to others in the app. The facial feature vector is strictly used to calculate a mathematical similarity score (cosine similarity) between users to find "Doppelgängers" (look-alikes).
• 5.3 Security & Sharing: All face data and photos are processed on our private, secure servers and stored in our encrypted database. We do not share, sell, or disclose face data or user photos to any third parties.
• 5.4 Retention: Both the profile photo and the derived face data are retained only for the duration of the user's active account. If a user deletes their account or updates their profile photo, the corresponding old face data is immediately and permanently deleted.
